Nick Salazar
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arturo John Nicholas Salazar (Nick). On Monday, January 25th, Nick, a freshman at New Albany High School outside of Columbus Ohio, lost a valiant fight with Ewing's Sarcoma at the young age of 14.

Nick was an avid musician and a defenseman on the local soccer team. He was a great friend and inseparable from the many wonderful friends he was blessed to have in his life. Always willing to lend a helping hand, he had a kind heart and a generous smile.

Nick’s mother (Gaye), father (Arturo) and sister (Alexandra) are profoundly grateful to all those who supported Nick and the family through these past few months.

The Salazar’s have provided us with some of Nick’s Songs of Hope that we will post soon.

We thank Nicks’s family for supporting the Sunbeam Foundation and pledge to continue our search for a cure.
